1)UTILIZE LAND TO GENERATE FAMILY INCOME
Rural communities need to make use of land they own to improve their standard of living and the socio-economic status of their families.
Tasik Biru State Assemblyman Dato Henry Harry Jinep said many of the existing methods could be used to cultivate their land.
He said villagers should take advantage of the schemes or provisions provided by the state government to develop their land.
He said this during a briefing on Bumiputera Native Customary Rights Land for Singai Area, Bau, last Thursday.
Henry added that many crops have the potential to be cultivated rather than leaving their land vacant and unproductive.
He said plants like pineapple, corn, coffee and so on could be cultivated as they could generate additional income.
2) SARAWAK WELCOMES COLLABORATION WITH SINGAPORE SCIENTISTS IN BIODIVERSITY SECTOR

He said this in a speech at the Sarawak Federal Business Anniversary Dinner and Gala Nite in Kuching.
