KUCHING: PROTON Holdings Berhad (Proton) has launched the Proton Saga 2019 on August 6 last year, the fifth model to be launched in eight months.
According to a press release, the Proton Saga, which has been rooted in the country for the past 34 years with more than 2,000,000 units produced for domestic and foreign markets, has given consumers complete confidence.
Recent feedback to Proton from Malaysian car buyers towards the model is very encouraging.
More than 41,000 units were booked at the end of December last year as the Proton Saga 2019 has been revived with a new design including a new front and rear bumper and attractive 15-inch alloy wheels.
Improved driving experience with more comfortable handling control features include bigger brakes, improved stopping power and new four-speed automatic gearbox.
The Proton Saga is the first in its segment to be equipped with Electronic Stability Control System (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) Hold Assist ( HHA) on standard and premium models.
All variants also come with ISOFIX mounting points and twin airbags, which provide four-star ASEAN-NCAP security rating models.
It also comes with a 7-inch touch screen and Android smartphone users can access their app completely through this touch screen.
The sound system has been tuned to deliver a truly world-class sound experience.
The Proton Saga gives customers better value and is priced from RM32,800 to RM39,800 nationwide.
