1. SPACE X LAUNCHES FALCON HEAVY ROCKET WITH 24 SATELLITES
FLORIDA: SpaceX launched its Falcon Heavy rocket on Tuesday from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying 24 experimental satellites in one of the most difficult launches it has attempted.
The craft blasted off to cheers from onlookers at 2:30 a.m. after a three-hour delay from the original launch time late Monday.
The mission, dubbed Space Test Program 2 (STP-2), is the third one for the Falcon heavy rocket which is described as the most powerful launch system in the world.
According to SpaceX, the boosters separated safely and the craft began its six-hour mission to deploy the satellites.
2. SEVEN MIGRANT DEATHS REPORTED IN ‘EXTREME HEAT’ AT US BORDER
MEXICO: The death of seven migrant including those of a woman, two babies and a toddler, has been reported on Monday due to extreme heat.
Local law enforcement official said, the woman and three children may have been dead for days before they were found by US Border Patrol near the Rio Grande in South Texas on Sunday.
According to them, the victims were thought to have died from heat exposure and dehydration in an area about 29 km east of McAllen.
Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Raul Ortiz said, the extreme temperatures during this time of year can be fatal adding that another decomposed body found on June 20th on the riverbank of the Rio Grande near Normandy.
