1) SARAWAK YANG DIPERTUA RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM MAJOR GENERAL DATO ‘TOH CHOON SIANG
Sarawak Yang Dipertua Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a farewell call from the First Division Commander of the Malaysian Infantry in Muara Tuang Camp, Major General Dato ‘Toh Choon Siang at the Astana Negeri.
He has served for 42 years and 8 months with the Malaysian Army and has served in Muara Tuang Samarahan Camp since May 2018.
During his tenure, the Sarawak Government has given full support to most of his projects.
He hoped that the military would continue to work closely with the Sarawak Government to ensure the peace and security in Sarawak.
2) SARAWAK DRONE ACADEMY TO ORGANIZE DRONE HANDLING COURSE
HDU Drone Academy Sdn Bhd in Sarawak will be organizing a 4-day Drone Operator Training Course beginning next week at the Kuching International FAME College.
The course will be co-ordinated by Alasdair Garrick, one of the instructors during the course.
According to Garrick, the course is a collaboration with PETROSAR Academy and has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.
He was speaking at a press conference after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between HDU Drone Academy Sdn Bhd and the PETROSAR Academy.
He further said, the fees for the course is RM5, 500 for a 4-day course and participants will earn Class 1 Drone Operating License.
