1) NO NEW POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES TODAY
KUCHING: Sarawak once more reported no new positive Covid-19 cases today after recording three positive cases over the past two days.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement said this brings the total number of positive cases in Sarawak as of today to 555 cases.
It also said one case had recovered and was discharged from Sibu Hospital.
On the number of persons under investigation (PUI), the committee said seven cases were recorded today while two cases were still pending lab test results.
Since the first positive Covid-19 case was reported on March 13, the state has recorded a total of 17 deaths.
Currently, 13 cases are still being treated at hospitals throughout the state.
2) RECOVERY MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER
PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today announced the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) that will commence from June 10 til August 31 2020.
This is to replace the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) that will end on June 9.
During a special televised broadcast today, Muhyiddin also announced that many social and economic sectors will be reopened in stages, including education, sports, and religious sectors.
3) DOMESTIC TOURISM ALLOWED
PUTRAJAYA: Meanwhile, in-country domestic tourism activities will also be allowed following the implementation of the RMCO that will take effect on June 10.
