KUCHING: Organized by the Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (IIC), about 250 participants from various faith had joined Multi-Religious Forum of Peace, Love & Faith: The Cornerstone of a Harmonious Society.
The forum’s significant objective is to provide a platform for participants to discuss contemporary issues and concerns affecting the society from different faith and to strengthen bonding through information and knowledge.
Held this morning (Feb 14) at the Sarawak Islamic Information Centre Kuching, five panelists representing Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Bahai and Tao shared their thoughts and provided insights of the forum which discussed the mutual understanding of peace, love and faith based on these five religions perspectives.
In this forum, participants were able to engage in discussions on faith and justice on various religious beliefs with professional inputs from distinguished representative of Faith-Based organizations.
For the past ten years, the IIC has been actively promoting and communicating the importance of understanding and mutual respect among multi-ethnic and multi religious populace in Sarawak.
