KOTA KINABALU – After the discovery of a corpse in Tuaran, two men in their twenties were arrested, Sabah in a case believed to be related to the case of a missing Grab driver for the past four days.
According to Malay Mail, Sabah police commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah said yesterday at 9.50pm on the parking lot of 1Borneo Shopping Center near here the duo, a local man aged 20 and a foreigner aged 24, was arrested.
They are suspected of killing the last seen on Friday, Mohd Hanafiee Jaafar.
“They admitted their driver’s killing and said they were dumping the body in the Tuaran area,” Omar said here today at a press conference.
“Simultaneously, police found a body in Tuaran’s Shabandar area and efforts are underway to identify the body that has begun to break down,” he added.
He added the identity of the victim will be determined by analyzing the fingerprint.
Omar said investigations are still ongoing, but police believe the robbery motive.
Hanafiee’s car, a Proton Saga, was found with blood stains inside at midnight on Saturday.
