KUCHING: One person, as of today, has been arrested for disobeying the Movement Control Order.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail as quoted in Dayak Daily said, the person was arrested last Saturday (March 21) for showing aggression towards the policemen manning the roadblocks in Kuching.
The person, a lorry driver, will be charged under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing a public servant in discharging public duty.
Aidi said, under Section 186 of the Penal Code, whoever charged will be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to RM10,000, or both.
