Syria is expected to be high on the agenda when Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan meets with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi on Monday. It is the fourth meeting between Putin and Erdogan this year. Trade between the two countries is also expected to be discussed. After his talks with Putin, Erdogan will head to Kuwait on Tuesday, and Qatar on Wednesday, to discuss the five-month-long Gulf diplomatic crisis. Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst, discusses Erdogan and the geopolitics of the region. “I think the Turks think the Americans and the Europeans are backstabbing cowards. And I think the Americans and the Europeans think Erdogan is [a] rash and brash leader.” – Subscribe to our channel: http://aje.io/AJSubscribe – Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AJEnglish – Find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aljazeera – Check our website: http://www.aljazeera.com/
